Okay, we're a bit obsessed with ladybugs...

And by we, I mean her..... but I highly support her new ladybug obsession, and will happily reward good behavior with bags of ladybugs.... It could be worse; she could be asking for candy!
She does not mind them on her hands,
She does not mind them on our land.
She does not mind them crawling up her shirt....
nor does she mind them crawling in her skirt.
She does not mind them in her hair....
If it were up to her, they'd be everywhere!

  4. Very sweet! Kids are such a treasure! They have such unique takes on the world. It reminds me of the cairn I found erected in my garden a couple of days ago. My son had placed a few flower blossoms and stones alongside an empty snail shell with a twig marker engraved "Gary." It was so cute I was tempted to photograph it. He's 12-1/2. Little does he know I regularly squash snails by throwing them against the fence or in the street. (I'm always hopeful a hungry bird will find them, it eases my guilt some knowing this is a possibility.)
